54 year old female presents with aching varicose veins since her last pregnancy 20 years ago. A Doppler exam (Ultrasound) revealed severe reflux in the left leg veins. Patient underwent VNUS Closure (Ablation of the vein) followed by Sclerotherapy (injections), with complete relief of symptoms and disappearance of varicose veins.

49 year old male presents with severe swelling of the legs and discoloration of the skin (hyperpigmentation) around the ankles. The patient is a Postal worker and walks 8- 10 hours a day. A Doppler exam (Ultasound) revealed reflux in the veins of both legs. He underwent bilateral VNUS Closures and subsequent Sclerotherapy (Injections). He no longer is concerned about blood clots or that he may not be able to perform his job.
